Privacy statement – A Society of Souls
A Society of Souls will send you emails if you subscribe to our mailing list, send us contact information, set up a healing session with Jason or in any other way contact us through our website.
We use an opt-in service, allowing you to change your personal details and your subscriptions or to completely unsubscribe from our list at any time.
The information that you will receive will be sent to you based on your subscription.
What information do we collect and what for?
In order to provide you with useful information, we collect only a minimal set of data:

Registration information
If you register as a member, we need to identify you in order to prevent other persons to access to your data. To do this, we need a login (your e-mail address or your login to our website) and a password.
If you contact us through our contact form, we need to identify you in order to provide an answer.
If you booked a healing session with Jason, we need your information to provide information about the session date and time and to claim the payment for the service,
Personal details and preferences

In order to provide you with good quality information, additional information might be required: your postal address for our analysis, your phone number for phone contact, and the area of interest so that we can provide the best service and answers for you.

Subscriptions
We collect data about your subscriptions to different mailing lists which are also kept in Excel sheet forms which are password and antivirus protected. Only a limited number of people have access to these data.
Site usage information
This is technical information that allows us to provide you with the Service, monitor its usage and improve it.
Session cookies

We do not collect cookies for marketing purposes or site usage and we do not pass on cookies to third parties. We use cookies during your registration or subscription to technically identify your requests during the session. These cookies do not contain personal information and can be disposed of at your will after your visit.

Log files

Log files allow us to record the usage of the site. They contain no personal information, nor information about which other sites you have visited. They allow us to improve the service by knowing its usage, and are processed anonymously.
How long do we keep your data?
We keep your data as long as you are subscribed. We only destroy the information from our website member list and excel sheet lists one month after you unsubscribe, in order to be able to restore it in case a mistake has been made. However, your data which is stored on our mailing service platform (MailChimp) stays there but is stored safely. You can read their Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

Who can access your data?
Only the persons in charge of website and mailing service maintenance have access to your data for the purpose of sending you the requested information. Exceptionally, other people may have temporary access in order to implement a project we are preparing for you. They are bound to A Society of Souls and have the same commitment towards the Data Protection Directive as the company.
Our system administrators have access to the data for the purpose of keeping the service running. They are submitted to the same legal obligations and must identify themselves (login/password) for these operations.
Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports website traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our Service. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

Visitor Analytics is a simple website analytics service that measures the traffic and visitors' general details of the customers' websites. Collecting these statistics, a website can make their visitors' experience better (e.g. which pages they visit and when, where they are approximately located, where a user lands first or if they are coming from a specific referral).
Basically, as a website owner using Visitor Analytics, we are using cookies to collect data about visitors' device type and screen size, approximate location, browser, OS, IPs, page visits, bounce rate, conversions and popular content on the website. All this data is pseudonymized and Visitor Analytics will never use the collected data to identify individual users or to match it with additional information on an individual user. All the information you provided us (personal data and subscriptions) are accessible to employees of A Society of Souls for the purpose of sending you information for which you subscribed. Access to the data is protected and requires identification (login/password) from them. They are bound to the same Data Protection agreement.
How can you modify your data?

You can modify your data at any time by choosing the "Update your Profile" option which is available for you at the bottom of every mail of ours, or by sending us an email notification that you want to change your data or subscription. You have the following possibilities:

Completely unsubscribe from the system. In this case, your data will be deleted from our database after one month.
